A series of online spots for the rideshare app Via is casting two leading actors for a shoot. The fun and quirky series is casting two roles for male talent, Remington Maximillian, for actors aged 40 and older, a dapper host with perfect hair and mustache and confidence to match, and Greg, for talent, aged 25–41, a goofy rideshare user who is forced to participate in an etiquette lesson where he is the victim. RIHANNA LOOK-ALIKE FOR ALLURE PROJECT
A makeup video for Allure Magazine is casting talent, ages 18–40, with a likeness to Rihanna. The subject will receive three Rihanna-like makeup looks from a professional makeup artist, all applied on camera. Shooting takes place on Dec. 17 in NYC. Talent will be paid $125. Apply here!

A professional training video for social welfare workers is casting two leading roles. The video demonstrates how a caseworker can use interviewing skills to collect critical information from a reticent client and get them to share uncomfortable details about their lives. The production is casting two roles for female talent, the Caseworker, for an actor, aged 35–45, and Marcy, for talent, aged 23–35, who suffers from drug dependency in certain scenarios. Both roles require acting out several scenarios and some improvisation in body language. Shooting takes place on Jan. 9 and pays a total of $500. Apply here!

“ROCKAWAY” WEB SERIES
A new web series is casting roles for union and nonunion actors. The series is a “raunchy, dark comedy” about “cold water surfers struggling to find themselves in the paradise that is Rockaway, Queens.” The production is casting two roles, Vijay, a straightlaced doctor for Doctors Without Borders, for male talent of color that is preferably South Asian, aged 26–35, with strong comedic timing, and Zach, a surfer that is “mutantly good-looking” with strong comedic chops, for Caucasian male talent, aged 25–34. A student film is casting leading and supporting roles. The film is a western set in the late 1800s about an outlaw and a hostage stuck in a rundown shack that’s surrounded by the police. The production is casting the roles of Rocky the outlaw, for male talent, aged 18–35, Dan, the hostage, for male talent, aged 18–35, and Magil, also known as Lil, Rocky’s victim, for female talent, aged 18–30.
