It seems like “The House with a Clock in its Walls” has plenty of room, as it continues to add principal cast members while getting ready to film in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to Cate Blanchett and Jack Black, Kyle MacLachlan and young actor Owen Vaccaro have recently been added to the project, which is being cast by Nicole Abellera and Jeanne McCarthy.
The story follows Lewis Barnavelt, an orphan “who aids his magical uncle in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world,” and in addition to casting its featured roles, the production is also searching for a body double for the young boy.
The team is looking for a Caucasian male, aged 9-11, who is between 4’5” and 4’9” tall and weighs 68–75 pounds.
The production also needs child actors, aged 6–12, for background in school scenes with the lead character. They are looking especially for kids who can ride bikes and thin boys who are skilled in basketball.
The project will shoot from Oct. 9–Dec. 15 in Atlanta, Georgia. The body double will earn $140 per day of work. Background actors will be needed from November–December and will earn $80 for eight hours of work. Talent must be local.
