Chita Rivera: A Dancer's Life, the stage autobiography of the celebrated musical theater performer, will close Sunday after a disappointing Broadway run.
The show, which opened Dec. 11 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, will have played 72 performances and 20 previews.
A Dancer's Life will begin an American tour Jan. 2, 2007, at the Miami Performing Arts Center in Florida, and there will be an international tour, too.
Rivera, a two-time Tony Award-winner, has appeared on Broadway in such musicals as West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie, The Rink and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
A Dancer's Life was directed and choreographed by Graciela Daniele.
