Disney Cruises Are Casting Performers to Play its Iconic Characters

The Disney Cruise Line is currently auditioning for roles on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships. Actors who pass the audition will form a repertory company, performing full-scale musical theater shows featuring the stable of iconic Disney characters.

The production is seeking male and female talent, aged 18 and older. Auditionees should have skills as vocalists and singers. Those selected will portray classic characters from the many Disney properties.

Casting will take place during open calls in New York City on May 7 and 8. Those cast will rehearse and perform on various cruise itineraries. Contracts are for nine months beginning in August or September 2018. Compensation includes competitive pay, travel, room and board, and other perks like guest sailing privileges, a completion bonus, and a benefits package.
