Earn $3,500 Per Month as a Lead in New Series ‘Tijuana Serie’

A new series casting in Southern California and shooting in Tijuana and Mexico City, Mexico is looking for actors to play one of the leads. The show follows the adventures of a group of reporters from the weekly Tijuana newspaper. Mexican-born Adolfo Madera (“The Darkest Days of Us”) is already attached to play a leading role.

The production is seeking a woman of either African American or African descent, aged 20–30, for another leading role. Actors should be able to speak Spanish fluently. Casting is for the character Malu, a strong, independent woman who works for the Tijuana Weekly as a reporter.

The production is seeking local talent from Baja California, San Diego, California and Los Angeles. Production will take place in April and May in Tijuana and Mexico City, Mexico. Compensation is $3,500 a month, with additional expenses covered for travel, meals, and accommodations. The production will operate contracts either through SAG-AFTRA or the Mexican union ANDA.
