“Emperor’s Funnies,” a comedy YouTube channel, is casting for an entertainment news parody show. The production is looking for L.A.-based talent to play news anchors.

The segment, “Hollywood Update,” is a mix of “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Onion,” and “Weekend Update.” The team is looking for female talent, aged 19–30. Actors should be able to portray a serious and professional news anchor, no matter what hilarious, preposterous, ridiculous, or outlandish lines appear on the teleprompter.

Shooting takes place in Los Angeles once a week, usually for two hours on a weeknight. Compensation is $50 per hour. Performers should be local to the L.A. area.
