Non-Equity at EPAs: waste of time?
Hey, fam. Just wondering: Is there ANY point in non-Eq actors going to EPAs in NYC? I get seen all the time, and know lots of people who do, but I’ve never once heard of any non-Eq being called back, cast, or even given an appointment. Does anyone have any experience to the contrary? I know it’s a courtesy that the union allows us to audition or whatever, but is it actually a waste of time for everyone? Are non-Equity people ever considered? Not interested in speculation, just wondering if anybody has any actual experience/knowledge about this.” —musiccrazy32
