Steve DiPaola, Actors' Equity Association's national director of administration, has been named to the position of national director of finance and administration for the union.
DiPaola will report directly to Alan Eisenberg, Equity's national executive director, and will be working closely with Equity's treasurer, Conard Fowkes, Comptroller Joe DeMichele, the finance department staff and with Senior Advisor Guy Pace.
DiPaola will be taking on the management and supervision of all matters relating to Equity's finances, in addition to his current duties of supervising administrative operations and human resources in all the Equity offices nationwide.
A graduate of New York University, DiPaola has worked in Equity for more than 18 years. Since 1987 he has overseen the management of the Equity offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco. In addition, he has aided in the development of the online dues payment system, the implementation of the student outreach program, along with the members-only section and casting database of the Equity website.
