Spring has officially sprung in the City Within a Forest (even though you could say it happened as early as February). And while Atlanta isn’t usually as walkable as cities on the East Coast, this week—and this weather—has plenty of events to get you out and about. Here are seven activities to get you through the week.

Imagine fairy tales are real.
Agatha’s, a murder-centric theater that has been “entertaining Atlanta with its unique, original, and hilarious murder mysteries” for over 25 years is staging its last weeks of “Once Upon a Murder.” Along with a group of friends, lose yourself as the characters of a “timeless tale of treachery and treason in a kingdom far, far away.” (Tickets: dependent on group size)

Create magic.
Elizabeth Gilbert, author of “Eat, Pray, Love” comes to Unity North Atlanta on April 24 to discuss her thoughts on creativity. We don’t think Julia Roberts will be in attendance but you are sure to get some great insight and a new perspective from a celebrated author. (Tickets: $65)

Indulge in a few brews and tunes.
Atlanta is known for two beers: Monday Night Brewing and Sweetwater. And if you’ve ever enjoyed either, you know the Sweetwater 420 Fest is not to be missed. This year’s fest will be held at Centennial Olympic Park, and features music and comedy paired with food and beer. Trey Anastasio of Phish will be performing, along with a ton of other rock bands on the docket. (Tickets: $138 for 3-day general admission)

Go car-free for a day.
The recent I-85 fire damage has caused a rise in ATL-ers complaining about a lack of transportation options, and Atlanta Streets Alive certainly won’t help—but it's for a good cause! The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition initiative will close city streets on the south side on April 23. Locals are invited to stroll (or bike) the streets and enjoy pedestrian-friendly entertainment. (Tickets: free)

Pay homage to Dr. Frankenstein.
Tough it doesn’t start until May, you’ll want to get your tickets now for SCADShow’s upcoming Gene Wilder retrospective. Next month’s event will feature screenings of the blue-eyed, sullen-faced thespian in such classics as “Young Frankenstein” and “Blazing Saddles.” (Tickets: $5/showing)
