It’s officially autumn and now it’s time to get serious! Put down that pint and start those practice poses. Here’s how dancers can take advantage of all that London has to offer this October:

The Royal Opera House is hosting the National Tour of The Judas Tree/Song of the Earth, offering two works by the brilliant Kenneth MacMillan. It’s running from Oct. 24–Nov. 1. (Tickets: £4–70)

Fan of Strictly Come Dancing? Pros Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace are teaming up to bring the heat of the streets to the stage in Tango Moderno. It runs from Oct. 3–7 at the Churchill Theatre. (Tickets: £22.50–40.00)

The 2Faced Dance Company is putting on a production of Outlands, a contemporary dance that showcases the work of three female choreographers and highlights the deep cultural ties between India and the UK. One night only, Oct. 3. (Tickets: £16)

The Metro-Boulot-Dodo Installation is looking for male and female dancers of all ethnicities for performances in late Oct. at the Frequency Festival in Leicester, England. Rehearsals pay £100 per day and performances are the same plus £25 in expenses. Apply here!

Blue Cloud Scratch is seeking submissions from choreographers looking to present at their scratch night on Oct. 4. Pieces can be up to 15 minutes long and they prioritize new work and works in progress over completed pieces. Only UK resident may apply.

London’s international dance festival, Dance Umbrella, has returned! With a series of events from Origami dancing to a mixture of dance, poetry, and film, all genres of dance and art will be covered. There are several events all over town from Oct. 11-28.

Looking for variety in your life? The City Academy offers classes in different styles at more than 40 locations across London. Whether you’re a beginning or looking to hone a skillset, try out one of the many offerings in burlesque, tap, tango, swing, and even diva dance for around £15 per session.

Now you can rock out while getting a workout! 2Rock’s Acrobatic Rock ‘N’ Roll at Westminster Academy features high kicks with “faster and more dynamic” dance style featuring demanding acrobatics. It even includes partner lifts and samples from swing, salsa, modern jive, tango, ballet, cheerleading, and figure ice skating.
