“This Joke’s On You”
Stoop Films & Production is casting actors for “This Joke’s On You,” a bold, heartwarming, and hilarious romantic comedy that explores modern relationships, social media fame, and the consequences of turning love into content as a rising stand-up comic, Tammi Carter, roasts her boyfriend in a viral bit that causes her career to skyrocket but their relationship to unravel. New York City-based actors, aged 12–75, are wanted for several lead and supporting roles in the film, including Tammi. Strong comedic timing, including a stand-up or improv background, is required for talent playing Tammi and multiple other roles. Production is also hiring multiple crew positions, including a sound operator and editor, and is also seeking content creators for digital hype and more. Talent will work in Brooklyn and Queens from October 13 to 24. Pay is $250 per day with meals, credit, and footage provided, plus future appearance rates TBD.

“Ten Dates”
Join the cast of “Ten Dates,” a feature romantic comedy constructed of 10 date sequences each lasting 10 minutes. Actors, aged 18–35, are wanted for four roles in the film, including the lead character Anna, an introverted painter looking for love in Boston, plus the 10 men she goes on dates with. The actors playing Anna and her dates must have strong comedy and improv skills. Filming will take place in Boston this August. Pay is $250 per day for either one day or 10 days of work.

Casting is underway for “Liquor Store,” a short Master’s thesis project and New York love story about Don, a liquor store clerk trying to score some World Series tickets, and Nina, the woman of his dreams who walks into his store. Join the cast of “Pillow Armor,” a romantic comedy feature that follows an agoraphobic man who agrees to pose as a friend’s fiancé for Thanksgiving... if she can get him out of the house.
