"All My Children" and "One Life to Live" creator Agnes Nixon will be honored with the lifetime achievement award at the 37th Daytime Emmys in Las Vegas on June 27. CBS will air the event.
Behind "General Hospital," "The Young & the Restless" (16), "Sesame Street" (14), "As The World Turns" (13) and "One Life to Live" (13) garnered the most nominations.
In the talk show category, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" garnered the most nominations -- eight, followed by "The View" (five).
Among other shows with multiple nominations are "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "The Penguins of Madagascar," "Wheel of Fortune" (four each), "The Fairly Odd Parents," "Guiding Light," "Live with Regis and Kelly," "Rachael Ray" and the "Today Show" (three each), as well as "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "The Tyra Show" (two each).
