These upcoming New York City auditions and submissions will having you singing classic Broadway rock tunes, rubbing elbows with actors like Nicholas Hoult and Kevin Spacey, finding representation as a dancer, and more!

“RENT”
There’s no day but today to get cast in the 20th anniversary nonunion tour of “Rent!” The Broadway smash is hitting the road this September through June 2017 and holding audition April 25 in New York City for lead roles Roger, Mark, Collins, and Mimi, in addition to pop-rocking ensemble members to play multiple roles, including homeless people on the Lower East Side and parents of Mark, Roger, Mimi, and Joanne.

“JAWBONE”
This feature-length horror film from writer-director Thor Moreno is casting two lead roles—both male aged 20–30—and one supporting role—a female aged 25–35. “Jawbone” is about friends Zane and Spencer who find themselves caught in a “disturbing scheme of intimidation, blackmail, and murder” after answering a Craigslist ad for a cherry red ‘68 Thunderbird. The film shoots this June in Des Moines, Iowa, which is also where casting director Annette Duffy is seeking talent.

“REBEL IN THE RYE”
This 1940s-set feature film starring Nicholas Hoult and Kevin Spacey is seeking background talent from the New York City area. The film is a biopic of the famously reclusive J.D. Salinger, author of “The Catcher in the Rye.” Hoult stars as Salinger and Spacey as Whit Burnett. “Rebel in the Rye” is scheduled for production April–May 2016 in New York City.

ACROSS THE BOARD (ATB) TALENT AGENCY
Across the Board (ATB) Talent Agency is seeking male and female dancers ages 18 and up for representation. Auditions are being held via open casting call on May 4 in New York City.
