Want to star in a music video with a popular indie band? Or maybe you’d like to put your science skills to work in a promotional video for an engineering company? Maybe it’s your chance to star in a new short film? Check out these four exciting opportunities to get cast!

“THIS VAMPIRE”
Here’s your chance to be cast as one of two leads in a short film! “This Vampire” is a drama that follows Chloe, a recovering addict who will lose custody of her daughter if she relapses. This gig pays $100/day, and travel and meals are provided. Filming will take place in January in Rockaway, N.J., and submissions are being sought from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

MUSIC VIDEO
A popular indie artist is looking for three actors to be featured in their upcoming music video, which will shoot this December in Brooklyn, N.Y. A recent video of the band reached nearly 1.5 million views, making this opportunity great for exposure! The job pays $100/day.

“UNTURNING”
Ten union and nonunion actors are being cast for the musical “Unturning,” based off the novel “The Return of the Native” by Thomas Hardy. Auditions for nonunion replacements will be held by appointment on Nov. 24 in NYC for the Venus Festival in January. Actors should come prepared with a classical musical theater song, and be ready to read sides from the script. Equity and non-Equity actors are also being cast for possible future replacements for another festival in August. Equity travel stipend will be provided, and A $500 prize will also be awarded at the festival for best actor and actress.

“ENGINEERING UNLEASHED”
Put your science skills to the test in this promotional video for the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network! “Engineering Unleashed” talks about what it is like to study in the STEM fields today, and follows a science student, an engineering student, and an “outdoor enthusiast.” Seven lead and supporting roles are being cast nationwide. Actors interested should include a cover letter and introduction with their filming availability, a recent headshot, a brief résumé, and contact information. This gig pays between $100 and $200/day, and $75 for half-days. Meals are provided and transportation costs will be reimbursed.
