Good Shepherd

is is a very busy time of year for the Fund: last month it collaborated with the Lambs Club to acknowledge the generosity of Tom Dillon, a legit theatre professional with longstanding ties to both organizations. Now in his eleventh year as president of the Fund, Dillon is also "shepherd emeritus" of the Lambs, the oldest theatrical society in America. The organizations, which have worked together on projects since 1882, saluted Dillon at a gala reception and star-studded tribute at the Lambs Club Oct. 23.Dillon's theatrical credits stretch back to the 1931 Broadway production "Cloudy with Showers"; he still acts, recently playing a role in the film "Slaughterhouse Five." When not performing, he advocates on behalf of the Actors' Fund Homes and is a Tony Awards Nominating Committee member. For more information about the Actors' Fund and its many good works, log on to or write to 729 Seventh Ave., Tenth Floor, New York, NY 1001
