Shetland 6 + 7
A sixth and seventh instalment of BBC Scotland’s crime drama Shetland have been greenlit and are queued up to film over the next two years, with Series 6 shooting on location in 2020. DI Jimmy Perez, played by Douglas Henshall returns to investigate crimes within the close-knit island community, created by mastermind crime writer Ann Cleves. Long-time casting directors Orla O’Connor and Julie Harkin are likely to be attached.
