Greenlit means a project is officially a go, so all you have to do is follow these leads to stay up to date. You never know where you’ll find an opportunity to land an audition!

“Star Wars” Boba Fett Movie
While “Solo: A Star Wars Story” made its debut at the box office over the holiday weekend, Disney is not sleeping on its next standalone film. First reported by Hollywood Reporter, the studio is developing a currently-untitled movie on the bounty hunter Boba Fett. This continues the “Star Wars” anthology series which started with “Rogue One” and has continued with the aforementioned “Solo.” “Logan” director James Mangold will helm this one, and when the casting gets going, Nina Gold has been attached to most of the new era of “Star Wars” films, at least in some capacity, so hers will be the door to watch.

“Hair”
NBC re-started the trend of live TV musicals in 2013, and five years later, that trend continues. The network’s last foray, “Jesus Christ Superstar,” was a success, and NBC didn't wait long to announce the next show in its lineup: “Hair Live!” The original musical debuted on Broadway in 1968 and follows a group of politically-active hippies living in New York while resisting the Vietnam War. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will continue as executive producers, a position they’ve held since the beginning, with “The Sound of Music” in 2013. Telsey + Company has worked on the last few of NBC’s live musicals, and production has been happening out of New York City.

“Last Thing He Wanted”
With the release of her Academy Award-nominated “Mudbound” last year, Dee Rees and Netflix made a good team. Now, the streaming service will re-team with the screenwriter and director for the upcoming adaptation of Joan Didion’s “Last Thing He Wanted,” with Anne Hathaway in the lead role. Rees will direct and also co-write the script alongside Marco Villalobos. Principal photography is scheduled to begin this summer, so if Netflix and Rees are repeating more than just their partnership, they could return to CDs Billy Hopkins and Ashley Ingram to fill out the rest of the cast.

“Six Underground”
It seems like every week Netflix has teamed up with a new big name, and Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds will be the next A-listers to join the platform, with Netflix co-financing and distributing Bay’s next flick “Six Underground,” starring Reynolds. This will be the platform’s biggest production to date at $125 million. On the creative side, the film reunites Reynolds with “Deadpool” scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, but “Six Underground” will not likely see the “Deadpool” casting team, since Bay likes to use Denise Chamian.
