HBO Max’s “Titans” has gained a mighty following with its take on DC Comics’ Teen Titans franchise about young heroes fighting evil. Due to the show’s success, it’s now even getting a fourth season. While there aren’t any current casting opportunities for the superhero series, we decided to round up some similar gigs for fans to peruse as they wait for the next season. If you want to star on a show that’s similar to the HBO hit, check out these action-adventure gigs seeking talent now. 

“Black Girl Superhero”

Casting is underway for a new short film about young women of color who have superpowers. Production is looking for POC female talent, aged 18 and older, to play featured performer roles. Talent should be athletic. Filming is ongoing in the Southeast and pays $60–$200 per day, based on experience level.

“Inter-Galactic Mission to the Northern Territory”

The Starlight Children’s Foundation is looking for talent. This is a unique chance to hone performance skills every day while improving the health outcomes of children and young people. The production is looking for talent aged 18 and older. Performances will take place in Australia. Pay TBD. This role offers an ongoing, part-time contract, with relocation packages available for interstate performers.

“Apex Force”

Apex Force” is an action-comedy parody based on classic superhero shows. It follows a group of pro wrestlers with superhero powers and they set up a plan to bust the biggest criminal in Starlight City. Production is casting male talent, 18-48, for a day player role. Shooting takes place April 15–17 in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas. This role is unpaid.

“Final Courage”

The six-episode superhero sci-fi web series “Final Courage” is seeking talent. Casting a Latino/ Hispanic female talent, aged 22–28, to play Mía Peréz, a woman with a troubled past who is attacked by a dangerous entity from another dimension; female talent, aged 18–26, who spent her whole life hiding; and a Latino/Hispanic female talent, aged 28–45, to play the show’s main villain. Rehearsals take place in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Minneapolis, Minnesota in the spring. Shoot dates are TBD. Pay is between $20–$39 an hour. Meal and travel expenses are covered.

“Jurassic World Live Tour”

The “Jurassic World Live Tour” is based on the “Jurassic Park” movies and “Jurassic World” franchise. Feld Entertainment is seeking action performers, puppeteers, actors with stage combat experience, and actors with one or more of the following skills: harness flying, motorcycle riding or stunt training. Auditions are April 4–14 in Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Marietta, and Orlando. Training and rehearsals begin in July in Ellenton, Florida. Pay is $1,000 per week.
