A benefit for the upcoming U.S. premiere of a dark comedy play by Brendan Cowell has been announced for April 5.
The event will be held to raise funds for the American debut of Bed, the story of a man who can charm just about anybody's pants off: literally. His roller coaster relationship ride goes from schoolboy dalliances and marital failure to college trysts and sex for cash.
Drinks and refreshments will be available.
The benefit will be held April 5, from 8 p.m. to midnight at Lowbar, 81 Washington St., between Front and York streets, in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Tickets cost $35, cash only.
