The Hollywood Fringe Festival opened its registration window Monday.

Solo performers and stage productions looking for space in the sixth annual theater festival must register by April 1 to be included in the printed guide, although those registering after the initial deadline can still sell tickets through the official website. Last summer, organizers revealed the theater festival filled 46,000 seats for its 290 productions bringing in a total of $389,000. All of that money goes to the actors and producers.

“Registration is a three-step process completed online that begins with the creation of a project page,” according to a release. “Registration costs $250, except for free shows or shows with only a single performance (which receive a discounted registration of $175). Registration fees pay for a listing in Fringe materials and many other benefits. There are no restrictions regarding genre, content, or length for the festival; specifics are left to participants and venues to determine.”

To learn more about the event, producers can attend a town hall Feb. 7 at the Hudson Theatres or check the organizers’ YouTube channel and blog for updates. The Festival runs June 11-28 with a week of previews June 4-9. The Opening Night party will be held June 10th.
