Be the Host of a New National Backyard Makeover Show

If you’ve got a knack for being the face of a national TV show and have a green thumb and DIY spirit, a hosting opportunity might be perfect for you. A new television show is conducting a nationwide search for a host. The new program features makeovers for families’ backyards. The host should have experience with landscape, exterior, and interior design.

The role is open to male and female talent, aged 25–45, who must be comfortable working directly with children, aged 6–16. Candidates should possess a bubbly and energetic personality and be both fun and likable, like a friendly mentor or a favorite camp counselor.

The ideal candidates would be a duo, whether a couple, friends, siblings, or business partners. Candidates with DIY experience for outdoor spaces and backyards is highly preferred. Experts on gardens and landscaping, as well as carpenters (especially treehouses) and fabricators, are encouraged to apply.

Compensation is yet to be determined but is cable competitive. Travel and lodging will be provided. The pilot is shooting in the tri-state area for up to one week late July or August. If the series is picked up, shooting will take place in late 2018 into early 2019 for up to six months in the southern U.S.
