Agent question:
Hi all, this might be a ‘dumb’ question, but… If an actor submits themselves for a job and books it, but that actor has an agent (who had no part in getting the contract), does the agent still get their commission? Should the offer/contract still be sent to the agent? Or does the actor do everything on their own since the agent did not have a part in getting the job? Thanks!” —XanXOXO

Actor looking to collaborate with creators!
Hi everyone! I’m Sofia, and I’m an actor with representation, but realized that they aren’t really helping me connect with writers and creators directly. I would love to focus on building authentic relationships with creators to tell unique, original stories, because that’s what art is all about! I believe in collaboration and creativity and would love to make friends with any writers and directors out there who want to work together!” —SofiaPortillo

Résumé question:
“Hi, I’m playing a role in a docu-reenactment type show, and wondered if it made more sense to list the credit as ‘Film’ or ‘Industrial.’ What say you? Thanks!” —PAviaLI21523
