Many actors spend ages vying for the number of roles SAG-AFTRA actor Elle Campagna has booked at only 5 years old. The young actor was recently cast through Backstage in “Dodo Titi,” a short film that has been submitted to the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Campagna plays Christy in the short, which was shot at a large home in Jackson, N.J. The cast stayed together in the house for four days while filming.
“Elle bonded immediately with her film dad, and everyone was so thoughtful and considerate,” the young actor’s mother, Natalie, says. “They were spoiling her, making grocery runs for pizza, Fruit Loops, and ice cream. Everyone pitched in to help and make sure she was happy, safe, and comfortable.”
Campagna has been using Backstage for about a year and a half, and her mother makes sure to always keep her daughter’s profile updated with new information. “At least half of the time she’s getting booked for projects that I haven’t even submitted her for,” she says. “It’s truly amazing!”
