Jury duty while acting?
“Hello, creative minds. Would love to hear if any of you have been called to serve jury duty while on a contract or have been called in during a tumultuous day when there was an audition or callback or a similarly vitally important creative booking. Were you protected? Was it smooth to get cover? Was production understanding?” —TheAugustActor

How to get your film footage when it's “too big” to be sent?
“I have worked on a couple student films and I have been told a couple of times now that getting my footage is going to be hard because the files are so big. I honestly don’t have any experience working with files like that, so maybe this is totally true, but I guess I just don’t understand how other actors seem to be able to get their footage for their reels, but I keep hearing this. Any help/advice would be super appreciated!” —sbeebees

Film/television agent?
Hello!

“Struggling a little with finding an agent. Many want a referral, and the several I have emailed have not responded. I have a commercial agent, and have done several commercials, but want to transition to what I’ve trained so hard for. Are follow-ups appropriate for the agents I’ve emailed, or just keep looking?” —Dlb
