Kevin Richardson Returning to 'Chicago'

"Backstreet Boy" Kevin Richardson is going back to "Chicago."

The former boy band singer returns to the Kander and Ebb musical Aug. 6, joining the new touring company of the hit show when it opens at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco.

The 30-year-old Richardson will portray shady lawyer Billy Flynn in the musical which also stars Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart and Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly. Richardson played Flynn on Broadway last season.

After the San Francisco engagement ends Aug. 24, Richardson will travel to England where he will make his West End debut in the London company of "Chicago" in September.
