Kids Now Casting: Barry Jenkins’ ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Needs Neighbors

Head up to Harlem this fall and land yourself in a possible Oscar contender!

“If Beale Street Could Talk,” an upcoming feature film from Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight”) set in 1970s Harlem, is currently seeking young actors for background roles. African American male and female talent, aged 8–16, are wanted to portray neighborhood kids.

The production will shoot Oct. 25 in NYC. Some pay will be provided.
