“Frank,” a 10-minute student dramedy about a recently retired man living alone in a neighborhood that is rapidly gentrifying, is now casting major roles.

A young, Asian, female actor, aged 12–17, is wanted to play Yoon-hee, a lead character who seems to be a rebellious teenager but is, deep down, considerate and respectful.

Additionally, a male actor, aged 55–70, is sought to play the eponymous role of Frank, a slightly neurotic but likable character. There are several supporting roles available in the film for talent, aged 40–50, including Yoo-hee’s parents.

“Frank” will shoot Feb. 9–11 in Staten Island, New York. Actors will be paid $100 for lead roles and $50 flat for supporting and extra roles. All talent will have travel and meals provided.
