3 L.A. Casting Notices to Light Up Your Life

We have your back, Los Angelenos. The promising casting notices below, from a feature film to a musical theater season, are looking for talented actors—and you just might fit the bill.

“NO MORE STOLEN AFTERNOONS”
This feature film needs talent to play boyfriends and girlfriends of the two lead characters, who are attempting to start a relationship despite the imminent destruction of Earth “by mysterious forces.” Both union and nonunion performers are invited to apply and will be given different rates of pay for the Toronto shoot in May.

SACRAMENTO MUSIC CIRCUS 2016 SEASON
Check out this phenomenal lineup of musicals: “Legally Blonde,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “Seussical,” “Cabaret,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” and “The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.” Want to get involved in Sacramento Music Circus’ season? Check out their casting notice here! As per the Equity California Musical Theatre Agreement, these shows pay $1,053 a week.

“OUT OF MY HEAD”
Casting director Victoria Alvarez is seeking female actors for lead roles Emma and Hailey, two lovers who chart the ups and downs of their relationship through flashbacks. According to a description, “The story will be heavily told through camera movements, colors, timing, and music, in addition to dialogue. We want it to be intimate, and the goal is to make this as relatable to the audience as we can.” This short film shoots in L.A. sometime in March.
