Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the U.K. As always there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. Although we make every attempt to verify castings before we hit publish, please ensure that you do your own research before firing off those headshots and Backstage links.

New App Casting

Production company xFilm, based in East London, is casting a range of actors to become part of a new pharmaceutical app. It’s a closed app, not available for the general public, and will be developed over the next few years. If you land a role or make a great impression, there’s potential for future work.

Each actor will shoot an in-character piece talking to a healthcare professional about experiences with a medical issue.

Roles include characters with specific attitudes towards their diseases as well as male and female doctors. All ethnicities are welcome to apply and there are roles available for talent, aged 18–50. The team has specified a selection particular accents and nationalities for the project.

The casting session will take place on Dec. 19 in London. The shoot will be on Jan. 3 and 4. The gig pays £200 per day, including expenses.

For a full breakdown of the roles see the casting notice and apply here.
