Although we make every attempt to verify castings before we hit publish, please ensure that you do your own research before firing off those headshots and Backstage links.

“Wise Decision”

MA student film “Wise Decision” is set in the near future, where artificial intelligence means anyone can calculate the risks of choices, big and small. When a young actress stands at a crossroads, having to choose between caring for her ill mother or forging her own successful career, what will the AI tell her—and will she listen?

The filmmakers are casting for their leads. Emma, a young female drama school student who is insecure, indecisive, and timid is for white female talent, aged 18–22. The co-lead, Linda, is Emma’s mum. She’s suffering from Alzheimer’s and stays at home because of the illness. Paranoid, controlling, and cranky, she often loses her temper just to garner attention from her daughter. The role is for a white female actor, aged 50–55.

The film shoots in London from July 2–9 with meals and travel covered. A fee for the roles can be discussed with the team upon application.
