“A Very Very Very Dark Matter”

Martin McDonagh is making the rounds this awards season for “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” which has already taken home Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice, and SAG Awards, and earned an Academy Award nomination last week. But the multi-award winning writer-director is already working on his next project, a play called “A Very Very Very Dark Matter.”

It’s a new play that currently has Academy Award–winning actor Jim Broadbent attached. The production is seeking a female actor, aged 20-49, to play the lead role of Marjory, a brilliant and witty black woman from a 19th-century Congolese Pygmy tribe. The actor should be no taller than 4’8”. Candidates for the role do not need to have previous acting experience.

“A Very Very Very Dark Matter” will begin rehearsals in August in London, but Telsey + Company is searching all over the world for the right actor for the job.

If you fit the description for Marjory, you can find out more information here and apply!
