Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the U.K. As always there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. Although we make every attempt to verify castings before we hit publish, please ensure that you do your own research before firing off those headshots and Backstage links.

“School of Rock”

The successful movie-turned-stage musical “School of Rock” is looking for their supporting cast of school kids for 2018, so tiny triple-threats, take note.

Director Laurence Connor is looking for talented children who can play rock instruments (guitar, bass, piano, and drums). Preferably kids will need to be playing to a high enough standard so that with training they will flourish. Not all children will be required to play instruments.

Children will also need to be able to sing and act. They’ll need to be under 5’ (152 centimeters) tall, and with unbroken voices.

Rehearsals begin in January 2018 and contracts run until August 2018 with professional pay. London auditions are by appointment on Nov. 20 and 22. Apply here!
