Hello and welcome to one of our shoutouts for projects casting around the U.K. As always there’s a mix of opportunities for all ages, abilities, and locations but do remember to check if you fit the bill before applying. Although we make every attempt to verify castings before we hit publish, please ensure that you do your own research before firing off those headshots and Backstage links.

Untitled New Musical

Co-founder of the Menier Chocolate Factory and producer David Babani is launching a new musical directed by Richard Fitch (“Funny Girl” U.K. Tour) with musical direction by the renowned Gareth Valentine. The team is looking for Tina, their child lead. This is an incredible opportunity for one lucky youngster, as they will be a part of the first production and help shape the show.

The young actor will play Tina, and the team is looking for talent, aged 8–13, with a preferred age of 10–11. Tina is a diva with a pushy mother who eventually becomes a ruthless killer. You’ll need to be fair-skinned and have strong acting and singing skills, with some tap experience preferred. You’ll also need to be confident speaking in an American accent.

Auditions are by invitation only on Jan. 21 with rehearsals starting on Feb. 12. The production runs from March 16 until June 23. Pay is discussed upon application.

Remember that under 16s need their accounts managed by a parent or responsible person. Make sure to read the additional specifics listed in the listing before you apply. Do both here!
