Hey, London actors! Stay in the loop and be sure to check back every week for projects currently in production in the place you call home. Here’s the 411 on what’s filming big and small in your city.

“Downton Abbey” Movie
There’s commotion in the Crawley house again! “Downton Abbey” star Michelle Dockery took to Instagram and shared a snap on-set from the forthcoming “Abbey” feature, marking an official start to production. Few details about the film have been shared and plot details are being kept under wraps, but it has been reported Matthew Goode will appear in the film, as well as guest stars Imelda Staunton, Geraldine James, Simon Jones, and others, as well as regulars Dockery, Maggie Smith, and Hugh Bonneville. Series creator Julian Fellowes has written the script, and Michael Engler will be directing. Jill Trevellick was the casting director on the series and will likely return for the film, as well. “Hobbs & Shaw”
Hobbs & Shaw are officially on the ground in London… or, at least Shaw is. Production is now underway for the upcoming “Fast & Furious” spin-off feature “Hobbs & Shaw,” which will explore the relationship between Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw. Johnson shared a post on Instagram on Monday marking the beginning of the film’s production. The post shows Statham with helmer David Leitch and a caption from Johnson, beginning, “DAY 1 and the evolution has officially begun.” Johnson is still wrapping up Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” so it’s more Shaw than Hobbs & Shaw at the moment, but the two will be united soon. Lucy Bevan, Marisol Roncali, and Mary Vernieu will all be casting the film.
