Los Angeles + Chicago ‘School of Rock’ Productions Are Filling Lead Child and Adult Roles

Triple threat kids and adults who are ready to rock might be perfect for a Los Angeles or Chicago, Illinois production of “School of Rock,” the Broadway show adapted from the hit film starring Jack Black.

Both productions are filling the lead adult role of Dewey Finn, as well as the leading kids who make up the band members and singers at Horace Green.

Tara Rubin Casting is seeking male actors, aged 18-40, of all ethnicities to fill the role of Dewey. Talent must have a high pop or rock voice and basic guitar skills. For band members and singers, the team is in search of male and female talent, aged 8-12, of any ethnicity. Male talent auditioning for band members must play guitar, drums, and/or piano. Female talent should play bass guitar.
