“Strange Angel”
“Strange Angel” has flown back into high gear! The CBS All-Access series has been filming in Central L.A. this week at a private residence (515 South Norton Ave.). The series, which stars Jack Reynor, Bella Heathcote, and Rupert Friend, follows the true story of Jack Parsons (Reynor), a blue-collar worker-turned-rocket scientist in 1940s L.A. who falls into a mysterious world and becomes a disciple of occultist Aleister Crowley (Michael Balin). Ridley Scott is an executive producer on the series, which was created by “Black Swan” writer Mark Heyman. There’s been no confirmed release date on the second season, which was renewed back in October. Denise Chamian head up casting.
