Ben Affleck isn’t the only screen actor to get their start in fast food—just ask Meg Ryan! She’s the sole star of this 1982 Burger King commercial advertising the chain restaurant’s “Aren’t You Hungry for a Whopper?” game, which gives patrons a chance to win a Whopper; a Coke; $1,000; $5,000; or even $1 million. No wonder Ryan is flashing that million-dollar smile. Even years before her household-name status as romantic comedy royalty throughout the ’90s, it’s clear that she possessed the charm and bubbly likeability that were destined to make her a star.
