Weathervane Playhouse is currently casting its 2019 summer season, which will include productions of “Aida,” “Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike,” “Matilda the Musical,” “Romance/Romance,” and “Billy Elliot the Musical.” Talent, aged 18–50, is wanted for several lead and supporting roles in the productions, including the titular role of Aida, Miss Honey in “Matilda,” and more. The season runs at Weathervane Playhouse in Newark, Ohio from May 23–Aug. 11. A STEM-focused TV program is casting participants with a strong interest in science, technology, engineering, and/or math. Talent, aged 15–30, who has a STEM-based career, degree, or passion are wanted to talk about their knowledge on camera. The shoot will take place in late March in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, or Palo Alto, California, Seattle, Washington, Denver, Colorado, Austin, Texas, Chicago, Illinois, New York City, and Boston, Massachusetts. Join Kings Dominion’s 2019 summer season as a character performer or musician. Musicians, aged 18 and older, are wanted for four-piece bands, marching bands, and more throughout the season. Additionally, talent, aged 16 and older, is wanted for meet and greet or show characters and hosts featuring the PEANUTS family of characters. All applicants must be 4’6”–5’4” tall with previous experience in children’s theater preferred. Rehearsals will begin on March 9, followed by the preseason March 23–May 19, the full season May 24–Sep. 2, and the post-season Sept. 7–Oct. 27. Musicians will be paid $540 per week, and character performers and ushers will start at $8.25 per hour. Apply here!
