Meagan Good stars in "Infamous" as a detective who returns to the wealthy and troubled family she grew up in, going undercover as the maid's daughter to solve the murder of an heiress who was once her closest friend. The show is described as a "Revenge"-type primetime soap. Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, and Ella Rae Peck also star.
The role that is being recast is a handsome, bad-boy womanizer and the brother of the murdered heiress. Jackson played the part in the pilot, which was then titled "Notorious."
Casting directors Julie Tucker and Ross Meyerson cast the pilot. Tucker and Meyerson's previous television credits include "Fringe," "Homeland," "White Collar," "Warehouse 13," "Nurse Jackie," "The Big C," "Damages," "Rescue Me," and more.
NBC announced last week that the lead female role in its new comedy "Animal Practice" is being recast, as well.
