Ready for ‘Ozark’ Season 4? Audition for These Dramatic Gigs

The fourth and final season of “Ozark” is set to premiere on Netflix Jan. 21. The third season premiered back in March 2020, and fans have been waiting two years to see what will happen to Marty Byrd and his family. While this means that the show is coming to an end, we decided to round up some similar gigs that you can still join. If you’ve always wanted to star on a show like “Ozark,” apply to these dramatic projects now.

“Pinewood”

A dark academia teen drama that’s currently in development is looking for a supporting male actor, aged 1826, to play age 1618. The project will shoot in the late spring in the Bath-Bristol area of the U.K. Pay is TBD.

“Murdered by Morning” Ep. 204

This crime drama series follows characters who don’t know that the night in question will be their last. Production is looking for four supporting roles. The first is a Native American male, aged 2545; a white male, aged 4055; a Hispanic male, aged 30-45; and a white male, aged 3045. The show films Jan. 19, 20, 21, and 24 in Los Angeles. Pay is $125 per hour.

“Blue Converse”

This short film tells the story of two boys who grow up together but start to go down different paths toward adulthood. The production is seeking two males, aged 5–8, to play the young versions of the leads, and two males, 12–15, to play their older selves. Rehearsals and filming will take place this summer in the Chicago area. Pay is $200, with travel and meals provided.

“Overcome”

This web series is based on real-life stories of people who have overcome challenges in life. Production is looking for two Black female leads, aged 2740; a Black male lead, aged 2740; and a Latino or Hispanic male lead, aged 4060. Filming will take place in an at-home studio in Gainesville, Virginia. Shoot dates and pay are TBD.

“Salience” 

This seven-part sports drama miniseries is casting for its pilot. The series tells the story of a sibling rivalry, and is looking for a male and female actor, aged 18–25, for the two lead roles. Production is also seeking a supporting male actor, aged 18–25; a trans female, aged 18–25; and athletes or para-athletes of any gender, aged 15 and older. Shooting begins in L.A. on Feb. 4. Pay is TBD.
