New Projects Launched on Indiegogo, including 'Foolhardy,' 'Ted Williams,' and 'The Keys'

Backstage's partnership with Indiegogo has helped raise over $1,082,000 for indie film, theater, and dance productions and web series. Will your project be next? Projects currently included on Backstage's Indiegogo Partner Showcase page include:

  • "Foolhardy": a short film about a 25-year-old recovering addict and drug dealer, Chester, who is desperate to mend his relationship with his wife, while their six-year-old son is caught in the middle of their turmoil.
  • "A Second Chance with Ted Williams": a new TV series from Ted "Golden Voice" Williams, the once homeless man that was discovered on the streets, bringing his amazing vocal abilities to more than 50 million YouTube viewers.
  • "No Easy Days": a TV series being film across the U.S., U.K., and Canada, in which the President and his team dispatch Navy Seal Commandos to rescue the President's kidnapped daughter.
  • "Reynard Take Hollywood": Young South African actor Reynard "Choppie" Erasmus is raising funds to travel to Los Angeles to make it as an actor.
  • "The Keys": an original stage play in three acts, a drama with hints of existentialism and a story of riches to rags to personal triumph. "The Keys" is the debut production of Theatre for Justice (T4J) a nonprofit stage play producer and performing arts education program.
