“Shazam! The Magic Show”

Casting is underway for “Shazam! The Magic Show,” a Broadway-style magic and illusion spectacular for all ages. Dancers with musical theatre backgrounds, aged 18–35, are now wanted for principal and ensemble roles. All roles will also require singing, and multiple dancers will double as assistants in illusions, requiring comfort in tight spaces and handling animals. Rehearsals will begin in March in Newberg, Oregon, followed by performances in June, September, and October, as well as potential additional dates in 2026. Pay is $1,200–$1,500 per week for at least eight weeks of work with travel, lodging, and meals provided.

“Desperate Housewife’s Vengence”

journey entertainment is seeking talent for a new vertical web series for DramaWave. Actors, aged 18–40, are wanted for various supporting roles. Filming will take place on Feb. 5–11 in New York City. Pay is $300–$500 per day for five days of work with flights and accommodations covered if needed.

“Call Me, Maybe”

Always Write Productions is casting the proof-of-concept pilot episode of “Call Me, Maybe,” a character-driven raunchy comedy series about an out-of-the-loop couple who’ve run a phone sex line since relocating from NYC to Shelbyville, Missouri in 1999. Actors, aged 18–75, are wanted for various roles in the project, including the co-lead role of Marcy. Production is aiming to film in Summer 2025 in NYC or Long Island. The project will be crowdfunded so the final rate is still TBD. Reel footage, credit, and food will be provided.
