“For the Love of Dance”

Casting is underway for “For the Love of Dance,” a feature-length film about a dance team’s road to victory. The project is now seeking talent 18–60, to play high school students and teachers and dancers on the dance team. The project is also hiring several crew positions, including a director of photography, a wardrobe assistant, and more. Rehearsals and filming will take place in Opelousas, Louisiana. Pay is $100–$1,000 fat depending on the role with meals and accommodations provided.

“The Art of Sweeping Under the Rug”

Join the cast of “The Art of Sweeping Under the Rug,” a trilogy of vignettes focusing on societal apathy, male inaction, and general indifference towards the commodification of, over-sexualization of, and violence against women. Actors, aged 20–60, are wanted for several roles, including the role of Philip, a computer nerd and shut-in who avoids human interaction. Rehearsals and filming will take place in Los Angeles. Pay is $25–$150 flat with meals, copy, and credit provided.

“The Softening”

Casting is underway for “The Softening,” an independent thriller/horror film following a man whose wife and kids disappear suddenly and are replaced by a strange woman claiming to be his wife. Talent, aged 18–80, is wanted for several supporting, day player, and background roles, including Rachel, the wife of the protagonist. Casting will take place in late February/early March in the Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area with filming to follow. Pay is $200 per week.
