“Land of Nod”

Parable Entertainment is seeking talent for “Land of Nod,” a fantasy family adventure film about a mother whose sudden illness forces her to reveal a secret to her children that will unite them and send them on an adventure that will change the world. Actors, aged 7–70, are wanted for various roles in the film. Production is especially seeking Indigenous (U.S. and Canada) talent. Filming will occur in late spring-early summer in Western New York and Georgia. Pay is $100–$200 per day.

“$100 Riddle”

Join the cast of “$100 Riddle,” a short film set in 1875 on a train bound for the American West where Rice, a middle-class gentleman, and his wife, Victoria, get into a verbal altercation over the status of women painters when Lucas, a crude farmer who is looking for a drink everywhere, barges into their compartment and sits down between them. Four actors, aged 18–65, are wanted to play all roles in the film, which will shoot between Feb. 1–6 in Los Angeles. Pay is $200–$300 per day for four days of work.

“Subject 7”

Subject 7,” a 90-minute animated horror feature, is seeking actors, aged 18–32, for motion capture performances in lead roles, including the protagonist David and the titular antagonist Subject 7. Filming will take place on Jan. 16–19 in St. Louis, Missouri. Pay is $350 per day for five days of work, with meals provided.

Black Pearl Spice Co. TOF Advertisement

Black Pearl Spice Co., a seafood salsa brand that offers an alternative to traditional seafood sauces, is now seeking comedy actors, aged 25–45, for the lead fisherman/waterman role and a supporting role. Improvisation skills will be required. Talent will work in San Diego, California, with the date TBD. Pay is $300 for the supporting role and $700 for the lead role.
