The upcoming feature film “On Ten” is casting dozens of supporting roles for filming in Atlanta. Plus, a pair of short films and a local car leasing commercial are casting talent now.
“On Ten”
Mann Robinson Productions is seeking talent for “On Ten,” a feature film about a teenage whiz-kid who, after watching his mother struggle to provide for his family and after learning about the massacre of Black Wall Street, develops a passion to build a strong financial structure for his community by turning the illegal into the legal. Talent, aged 18–70, is wanted for a wide variety of supporting roles in the film. Filming will take place on March 4–28 in Atlanta, Georgia. Pay is $125–$210 per day.

“Uptempo”
Casting is underway for “Uptempo,” a short film about a prodigy musician and his titular quartet who are on the verge of making a name for themselves as one of the most talented young groups in jazz… if they can get past their bandleader’s lack of accountability. Talent, aged 18–80, is wanted for several roles, including the starring role of Woody Brees. At least basic instrumental skills (trumpet, bass guitar, keyboards, and more) will be required of the actors playing the band members. Rehearsals will begin in May once a month until filming begins on Sept. 1 in New York City. Pay is $150–$250 per day.

“The Lost Navigator”
Join the cast of “The Lost Navigator,” a short film that explores what the conversation between Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan might have been during the last 1000 feet down. Three male actors, aged 25–70, are currently wanted to play bartenders and saloon patrons in day player and background roles. Filming will take place in Los Angeles, date TBD. Pay is $200.

D&M “Convenient” Spot
A female actor, age 25 or older, is now wanted to portray a mother searching for a car lease in a spot for D&M Auto Leasing. Filming will take place on March 8 or 15 in Texas. Pay is $500 with meals provided.
