New Multi-Show Platform

AB Films is seeking talent for a slate of five scripted (horizontal and vertical) series for a new media platform. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18–35, are sought for lead roles in the projects, which will begin filming on Dec. 1 through Jan. 16, 2026, in L.A. and Southern California. Pay is $350–$400 per day for up to five days of work.

“Othello,” EPA

Classical Theatre of Harlem is casting Equity actors, aged 18 and older, for principal roles and understudies in its Uptown Shakespeare in the Park production of “Othello.” Principal auditions will be held on Dec. 17 in New York City. Rehearsals will take place on June 1–July 1, 2026, followed by performances on July 2–26 at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park. Pay is $719 per week.

“Friendly Fire”

Casting is underway for “Friendly Fire,” a short drama following a pair of childhood friends who encounter each other at a party after a series of life events had separated them for many months, revisiting memories of their decade-long friendship and struggling to look past their traumas to salvage what remains of their long and tenuous relationship. An NYC-based male actor, age 20–30, is wanted to play the co-lead role of Reed. Rehearsals are scheduled for February or March 2026, followed by filming in April or May in Brooklyn. Pay is $800 for four days of work.

“The Art of Sweeping Under the Rug”

Arthauz Productions is casting talent for “The Art of Sweeping Under the Rug,” a feature film built from a trilogy of vignettes centered on “societal apathy, male inaction, and general indifference towards the commodification of, over-sexualization of, and violence against women.” L.A.-based actors, aged 20–60, are sought for several supporting roles. Filming will take place on Jan. 10–11, 2026. Pay is $100–$300 per day with meals/snacks and credit provided.
