Visperia Films is casting talent for “Keelhaul,” a period horror/thriller short film that will take place in a stranded vessel during the 1720s. California-based actors, aged 18–60, are wanted for various lead and supporting roles. Rehearsals and filming will take place in Los Angeles with dates TBD, with a potential extra filming day in Mexico City, Mexico. Pay is $241–$300 per day for up to four days of work.

“Warts and All”
Little White Lady Productions is seeking talent for “Warts and All,” a black-and-white short drama. Three actors, aged 30–40, are wanted for two lead roles and a supporting role. Rehearsals will start in late summer/early fall via Zoom and in person in or around Edison, New Jersey. Filming dates are TBD. Pay is $115 per day for up to four days of work, with food provided.

“Off Campus”
Casting is underway for “Off Campus,” a scripted eight-episode Amazon MGM Studios series. A California-based male actor, age 18–35, is wanted to play the series regular role of Dean Di Laurentis, a star ice hockey defenseman and the life of the party. Talent must have ice skating ability and be at least 5’9”. Partial nudity and simulated sex will also be required. Filming will take place between June 9 and Oct. 3 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Talent will be paid SAG-AFTRA rates.

“Silence is Not Golden”
Join the cast of “Silence is Not Golden,” a dramatic theatre production set in 1969 around themes of domestic violence. Nationwide talent, aged 20–50, is wanted for principal roles. Production is also hiring a stage manager. Auditions will be held on April 19 and 21 remotely, followed by callbacks on May 3–4. Rehearsals will begin on Aug. 9, with tech and performances scheduled for Sept. 12–14 at Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona. Pay is $500 with housing and a travel stipend of up to $400 provided.
