A short thriller-horror film is holding auditions for major roles. Plus, two additional short films and a snack company lifestyle shoot are casting now.
“The Choice”
Angel Media and Productions is seeking cast and crew for “The Choice,” a thriller-horror short about a world combating a deadly virus where the choice to take a vaccine unlocks hidden side effects in certain people. Talent, aged 18–50, is wanted for three lead roles and two supporting roles. Additionally, the production is hiring two set production assistants. Auditions will be held virtually by appointment on several days in March. Script and dialogue reads will begin during the first week of June via Zoon, followed by table reads and filming in the subsequent two weeks in San Francisco and Oakland. Pay is $250 per day with meals provided.

“Derealized Water” Short Film
Join the cast of “Derealized Water,” a short film that will illustrate an allegory for an individual’s mental response to the escalating global economy and its related issues. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for several roles, including the starring role of Ace. Filming will take place on March 18–20 in and around Los Angeles. Pay is $100 per day with meals and transportation provided if needed.

Snack Company Lifestyle Shoot
Actors, aged 8–30, and a real family with at least one child under the age of 12 are wanted for a lifestyle shoot for a snack company. The shoot will take place on March 15–18 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pay is TBD (undisclosed by the production).

“The Difference Between Us”
Casting is underway for “The Difference Between Us,” a short romantic drama about an undocumented Bangladeshi immigrant in Philadelphia who starts to fall for a roommate she’s never met. Three actors, aged 25–45, are wanted for major roles in the project. Rehearsals will take place in April, followed by filming before July in Philadelphia. Pay is $200–$500 per day with meals, travel, and accommodations provided.
