“Pagans,” Role of Nate 

Meredith Tucker Casting is continuing its search for lead talent in “Pagans,” a Netflix supernatural drama series starring Steven Yeun. The series follows a man who, after the tragic loss of his wife, becomes the sole caretaker of his two children: a typical son and a daughter who is anything but. Production is seeking an Asian-American/white male actor, age 10–14, to play the son, Nate. Talent will work from November to May 2027 in New York. Pay is currently undisclosed but will be at least the minimum SAG scale rate.

“The Wa” 

Join the cast of the proof of concept for “The Wa,” a heartfelt, character-driven comedy in the spirit of “Eastbound & Down” and “Ted Lasso” and set in the world of a Brooklyn rec softball league. A male New York City-based Latino actor, age 28–35, is sought to play the role of Zeus, a charming former minor league baseball player and current softball league captain. Softball/baseball skills are required for the role. Filming is scheduled for Oct. 2, 3, and 5 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Pay is $257 per day.

“Dry Guy” 

A male actor with an athletic build and comedy background, age 21–45, is sought to play a wrestler in a TV commercial opposite high-profile talent. There will be a fitting on Sept. 14, followed by filming on Sept. 17 in Las Vegas. Pay is $1,500.

“The Lost Films of Gilbert May” 

Casting is underway for “The Lost Films of Gilbert May,” a short comedy that follows a washed-up filmmaker named Gilbert May as he takes the audience through his day, sharing his secrets to success, creativity, and resilience. Los Angeles-based talent, aged 50 and older, is sought for the starring titular role and two supporting roles. Rehearsals will take place in September or October, followed by filming in Los Angeles in mid-to-late October or early November. Pay is $250 per day for one or six days of work, depending on the role.
