“Lights Out”
“Lights Out,” a behind-the-scenes drama with a comedic twist from an award-winning producing and directing team, is seeking three actors for lead roles. U.S. or Canada-based actors, aged 35–72, are wanted to play a senior adjuster, junior adjuster, and paralegal. Filming will take place over one day during the week of June 2 in Vancouver or Toronto. Pay is $5,000 with travel/airfare, hotel, and per diem provided.

“Parkside East”
Casting is underway for “Parkside East,” an NYU Tisch graduate thesis short film that is supported by the Sundance Institute and executive produced by Spike Lee. Three actors, aged 28–90, are wanted for major roles, including the lead role of Chang, a devoted Knicks fan and a long-time night shift doorman of a luxury downtown apartment building. Rehearsals will take place on July 19–22, followed by filming on July 22–28 in NYC. Pay is $200 per day (negotiable) for up to five days of work with transportation and accommodations covered for non-local hires.
